The Wildcats’ baseball team got a much needed break after a succesful stop at the Gulf Shores Classic in Alabama. The Wildcats won their final game in walk off fashion 12-11 over Maumelle, Arkansas. Luke Seals brought home the game winner with a sac fly in the bottom of the 9th. Ponca City had to comeback from a large deficet as they were down early 7-1. The offense picked up the slack getting 20 hits in the game. Ryan Denton, Aaron Hosack, Maison Steelmon, Cody Ryan, Casey Anderson and Eli Wohl each had multiple hits-including Denton going 4-4. Casey Anderson got the win for Ponca City. He lasted six and a third innings, allowing seven hits and four runs while striking out one. Steelmon threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen. The Wildcats get back in action April 2nd at Jenks, then again the following night as Jenks comes to Ponca City.
