The Ponca City Lady Cats got the win over PC North Friday to improve their record, while the boys suffered a tough loss 11-2 at the Po Hi field.

Accoridng to coach Steichen “The 11-2 loss to PC North on Friday night was tough but a positive match for us.  Our young players got the chance to see a very quality opponent and was forced to look at themselves in the mirror to realize what they need to do to be a better player.  We gave up a lot of space and possession due to lack of quality touches and positioning, two points we’ve been hammering home during the first few matches and this time we had to pay for it.  But that experience only allows our players to see that and move forward.  We started that process Saturday with a very positive film session that I felt left our players more hungry for the rest of the season.”
